Summer's are often too quiet for me. Most people enjoy vacationing during the summer months but not me. It's far too hot to go anywhere and everywhere I want to go tends to be too full of people. Besides, why leave my backyard full of pretty flowers and yummy food to travel somewhere else. Especially after spending so much time setting my garden in the spring?

While chatting with a group of other music teachers this spring, I had a lightbulb moment - why don't I offer a “pay what you can” summer of ukulele lessons? After all, I'll just be hanging out on the patio all day playing my ukulele! Why not have some students to teach too?

Many people are intimidated by the thought of learning something new. Especially something as seemingly complicated as a musical instrument. Between purchasing an instrument and then paying for lessons, it all sounds very expensive and time consuming.

For the months of June, July, and August, I'm letting YOU set the price of your lessons. No contracts or other commitment (other than to practice occasionally, of course!) 

No previous music experience required. 

All ages can learn to play.

No need to drive; I come to you.

All you need is a ukulele and a willingness to learn!
